We've been fixing and installing hot water systems around the Eastern Suburbs for a long time. Our plumbers and gas fitters work on gas and electric units, storage tanks and continuous flow.
We carry parts for the major brands, so a lot of repairs get done on the spot. If the system is on its way out, we'll tell you straight and give you a price for a new one before any work starts.

Rheem, Rinnai, Dux, Bosch, Vulcan, Aquamax, Thermann and the rest. If it heats water, we've probably had our hands on one. For a new system we'll recommend a brand and size that suits the house and the people in it, not whatever happens to be on special.

Picking a new system
Like for like is the quickest and cheapest swap, and most of the time that's the right call. If the old tank has been running out of hot water, a bigger tank or a continuous flow unit fixes that for good. If there's gas at the property, gas continuous flow is hard to beat for a family home. For units and smaller places, an electric storage unit is often the simplest.
We'll talk through the options on the day. Where it sits, what the gas or power supply can handle, and what the strata or council rules say about putting it outside. Then you get one price for the unit, the install, the valves and the certificate.
Hot water in unit blocks
A lot of our hot water work is in strata buildings. That ranges from swapping the unit in a single apartment to looking after the central plant that feeds a whole block. If a shared system has gone down, we treat it as an emergency, because it's everyone's shower.

Common questions
My hot water has died. How fast can you replace it?
Usually the same day or the next morning. We carry common sizes and can get most units quickly, so a like for like swap is often done within 24 hours of your call.
Should I repair it or replace it?
If it's under about ten years old and it's a valve, thermostat or element, repair. If the tank itself is leaking or rusting, it's done, and a repair is throwing money away. We'll tell you which it is before you spend anything.
Why does the hot water keep running out?
Either the tank is too small for the household, an element or thermostat has failed so it's only heating half the tank, or the tank has sediment in the bottom. All three are fixable. We check which one it is first.
Gas or electric, storage or continuous flow?
If you have gas, continuous flow gives you endless hot water and takes up almost no room. Storage units are cheaper up front and simpler. Electric is the easy choice in units with no gas. We'll recommend what suits the property, not the dearest option.

Yes. Gas installs get a certificate of compliance, and every new system is installed to the standard with the right valves and tempering. That matters for insurance and for strata.
